Many authorities ask for documents to be notarized before they accept them or before they can be legalized. We coordinate notarization with qualified notaries and commissioners for oaths, so that signatures, declarations, copies and translations are properly certified.
Because we also translate and legalize, we make sure the notarization is done in the right order and the right format for the next step of your procedure.
What we handle
- Notarized translations
- Certification of signatures
- Affidavits and sworn declarations
- Certified true copies of original documents
- Powers of attorney
- Consent letters (e.g. travel of minors)
Frequently asked questions
Is a notarized translation the same as a certified translation?
Not exactly. A certified translation is certified by the translator or translation company; a notarized translation additionally carries a notary's certification. We tell you which one your authority requires.
Do I need to sign in person?
For signature certification you generally sign in front of the notary. We prepare the documents and arrange the appointment.
